Disney Music Nostalgia: The Little Mermaid
Well when it comes right down to it, Disney's The Little Mermaid score was brilliant and one of the most memorable of the Disney films. According to some, they believe this movie was the first to incorporate broadway music to cartoons. And with this Academy Award winning music by Alan Menken with collab by Howard Ashman I can see why it was viewed this way. The album went triple platinum in 1989-1990, making its mark in animation history as one of the first animated films to accomplish such a feat. I believe the score was amazing compared to most the Disney animated films released in the 1980s. And it would start a trend of other wonderful scored animated features such as Beauty and The Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin and so forth. This is an album I recommend placing in your music collection to treasure.

Disney Music Nostalgia
Have you ever gone through your music, whether its cds, audio cassettes,or MP3 and find yourself singing along to a song you haven't heard in a million years? I have, and I tend to notice most of the songs I can remember no matter how long I haven't heard it, is Disney songs. So I have decided that I will conduct a review of some of the most nostalgic Disney albums from my childhood. Til then, just kick back and relax and enjoy the trip down memory lane!
